Technology for SEND Education
CENMAC attended the Technology for SEND Education at the Palace of Westminster on 12 June, which was chaired by Lord Low of Dalston CBE (Crossbeanch).
The event built upon APPGAT’S previous work on technology and education, ‘which found the need for schools to have access to AT Specialists to provide advice and guidance, and for every teacher to have a base level of AT confidence.’

Great keynote to the Assistive Technology/Education debate from Shadow Education Secretary Angela Rayner MP (in at the very start of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Assistive Technology) and Sharon Hodgson MP (an early supporter of BATA).
