What is CENMAC Parents Hub?
A new space for CENMAC families to meet, learn and feel supported.
We’d love to welcome parents and carers from primary and secondary schools across Greenwich to come along and get involved with CENMAC Parents Hub. It’s a great chance to connect, share ideas, and be part of something supportive.
- A friendly place for families to connect.
- Support with technology, learning and school transitions.
- Opportunities to meet other parents and members of the CENMAC team.
- A chance to share experiences and build confidence in using assistive tools at home.

What we offer
- Half termly meetups at CENMAC
- Informal coffee mornings
- Q&A sessions with the team

Workshops
Our workshops will cover:
- Basic computer skills
- Internet safety
- Home WiFi tips
- Accessibility – making the most of home devices (eg Microsoft, Doorway, Maths Genie)
Resources to support learning
We often get questions from parents and carers about some of the resources and tools we use to support children and young people. We use the following resources regularly and the great thing about them is they are free and easy-to-use. When a child or young person’s family feels confident using the technology as well it can feel a little less daunting.

Supporting transitions
We know transition time can be a challenge for families so we can help navigate KS2 to KS3 with:
- What to expect
- Tips from families who’ve already experienced it
- Preparing children so they feel confident
