Supporting and extending SEND learners at primary and secondary with RileyBot AI

In this session Lex Lang, Deputy Headteacher at Caterham School explores how the RileyBot AI learning assistant can support and extend learning for students with SEND in both primary and secondary settings. This talk will introduce the core features of RileyBot AI and its potential to enhance accessibility, engagement, and personalised learning.

He provides an overview of the technology, highlighting how it adapts to diverse learning needs, facilitates communication and supports independence in students. He also shares some of the results from research into the impact on pupil metacognition and attitudes to learning. Attendees will gain insights into how AI-driven assistive technology can complement existing strategies, helping students to overcome barriers and reach their full potential.
