Join an innovative team transforming support in schools.
We are looking for highly skilled and motivated Speech and Language Therapists Band 7 with school-based experience to join an exciting new service as part of the Experts at Hand initiative.
Working under the leadership of a Band 8 Highly Specialist Therapist, you will be part of a dynamic team delivering early, impactful support to children and young people with SEND across mainstream schools.
You will work across school clusters, supporting settings to better identify and meet communication needs, while building staff confidence and capability. You will collaborate closely with experienced colleagues, including the Communication and Interaction team, assistant practitioners, specialist CENMAC Speech and Language Therapists, and NHS partners.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop your clinical and leadership skills within a forward-thinking, multi-agency service.

We are looking for someone who would be interested in working as part of a multi-disciplinary team across a wide range of educational settings as part of the Academy and outreach services.

Assistant Practitioner – CENMAC – Assistive Technology in Education

Location: Outreach service working across London and based at Charlton Park Academy, Greenwich, London
Salary: Competitive (depending on experience)
Contract: Full Time, all year around, Permanent
Join the CENMAC team based at Charlton Park Academy, as an Assistant Practitioner, supporting children and young people with communication, physical and learning differences using assistive technology and Augmentative and Alternative Communication. Working alongside specialist teachers and speech and language therapists, you will help schools, families and students implement effective communication and assistive technologies, provide training and technical support, and contribute to improving educational outcomes and independence for children and young people across a range of settings. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with strong ICT and communication skills who is passionate about inclusion and making a real difference.
