Ace Centre is a registered charity providing Assistive Technology and Augmentative and Alternative Communication services for people with complex needs. We offer assessment, training and information services across England, with a focus on Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and Assistive Technology (AT), delivered by our multi-disciplinary team of specialist teachers, occupational therapists, speech & language therapists with the support of technical and administrative staff.

We believe everyone should be given the opportunity and the tools they need to fulfil their potential; we therefore lobby for change in statutory policy as well as working directly with people who need our support.

CandLE is a not-for-profit organisation that specialise in the education needs of AAC users.

AAC is any form of communication other than verbal speech. We have developed proven methods with many success stories of students going from school to further and higher education, giving them the tools to be successful academically as well as the skills to live independently.

Our team of AAC teachers, and teaching assistants are the leading experts in teaching students who have complex access needs. Our resource developers specialise in adaptation and differentiation of the curriculum using Grid 3 and other AAC software. We provide services to local authorities, schools, and families, tailoring our approach to suit each students individual needs and communication methods.

CENMAC is a team of specialists who support children and young people with assistive technology to access the curriculum and/or to communicate. Located at Charlton Park Academy in South-East London, CENMAC is a unique service offering assessments, reviews and the loan of equipment. We work across the Greater London area, with children and young people aged 2 to 25 with Education Health and Care Plans in mainstream education, special schools, and those who are home educated.

Dolphin Makes a Difference

Dolphin assistive technology products are designed to improve accessibility and independence on computers, for people with a wide range of vision impairments. This includes screen readers for people who are blind, magnification and audio products for people who have partial sight and low vision.

Dolphin also develops technology to assist a neurodiverse range of readers. Accessible reading technology from Dolphin is used by book lovers and students with dyslexia, ADHD and autism, in addition to other print impairments.
