All sound files have to be saved in either a .wav or .mid format before they can be imported into Clicker. MP3 files do not work. Music and sound effects can be found in various places on the World Wide Web as well as on commercially produced CDs. Try these websites for sound effects, clips from TV shows, theme music etc.

Once you have downloaded and saved your files you can then import them into ‘Clicker’ cells using the ‘Sound and Video’ tab in the ‘Cell Properties’ dialogue box. If the sounds are being used in Clicker cells then they have to remain on the hard disc of the computer being used. Otherwise, build up a collection of sounds and music clips on CD (if you have a CD-RW facility) to save hard disc memory.
